Road to Columbia Florence swept Cheraw, then came back from a 0-2 deficit to defeat Murrells Inlet in five games winning the last three 10-0, 7- 4, and 9-8. This is Florence’s sixth straight appearance in the State Tournament. Gaffney Post 109

1st Place League VI

Road to Columbia Gaffney defeated Richland in five games, then swept Easley. Post 109 averaged just under nine runs against Richland and ten against Easley. 1st Place League I

Road to Columbia Post 185 (AKA Low Country Heat) swept both Georgetown and Goose Creek scoring an average of 11 runs and allowing six in each of the six playoff games. This is Hilton Head’s first trip to the state tournament and completes a remarkable turnaround for a team that won one game all of last season. Murrells Inlet Post 178

Road to Columbia Post 178 (AKA The Tides) dispensed with Beaufort in four games, then took a 2–0 lead on Florence, but ended up losing that series as Florence won the final three games. Murrells Inlet got a second life in the play-in bracket and eliminated Goose Creek 3-2 in 13 innings (The Tides’ tenth game in 15 days) to advance to the State Tournament. Richland

Road to Columbia Post 79 took a 2–0 lead on Greer in round one, but lost the next two games by a total of two runs and had to win a game five to advance. West Columbia lost the first game to Greenville in the second round, but Green-ville forfeited the remaining games due to a lack of players.
