Leadership South Carolina spends weekend painting and renovating

Helen Munnerlyn Helen Munnerlyn Leadership South Carolina selected the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind as its statewide project and demonstrated its support with a weekend of painting and dorm renovations.

The organization covered the costs and provided the labor to paint the 9600 square foot Henderson Hall dormitory. Participants also framed student artwork to be hung around the dorm. The organization also plans to raise $55,000 for much needed educational equipment on the Spartanburg campus. So far, $40,000 has been raised.
