Gail Trebuchon At the South Carolina Press Association 2009 PALMY Awards luncheon at the Summit Club June 17, Columbia Star employees won several awards. For third place in the category Miscellaneous Retail or Classified Display Ad Mike Cox was the sales representative and Pam Edwards was the designer. For Use of Advertising for Non–Profit Community Service, second place went to Gail Trebuchon, the sales representative, and Mike Maddock, the designer. Mike Maddock won first place for his design of Newspaper Promotion. All awards were in the 12,000 to 35,000 division.
