Approximately four million cats end up in shelters every year, including thousands born every spring and summer during “kitten season.” To help promote adoption of these fun and affectionate animals, American Humane celebrates Adopt–A–Cat Month each June.

The Columbia Animal Shelter is brimming with cats of every breed, age, and personality just waiting for a loving home. Whether you prefer young and frisky or mature and mellow, you are sure to find the perfect cat companion during Adopt–A–Cat Month.

Please join us at the Columbia Animal Shelter by adopting a cat or kitten. All of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, de–wormed and tested negative for feline leukemia and aids; all for just $68. Each adopter will also receive a free bag of Science Diet cat food and an adoption kit.
