The Afternoon, Eau Claire, and Morning Clubs of Columbia present Scholarship Winners Recital
The Afternoon, Eau Claire, and Morning Music Clubs of Columbia presented their Scholarship Winners Recital April 25, 2010, at Columbia College. Mrs. Nell Haggard, president of Eau Claire Music Club introduced each musician as they entertained the group. Performing were Kevin Rabinovich, intermediate piano, student of Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire, Rice Music Scholarship; Qiang Zhang, intermediate piano, student of Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire, Rice Music Scholarship; Miranda Liva, intermediate piano, student of Dr. Ann B. Wilson, Josephine Bradford Memorial Scholarship (Eau Claire Music Club); Jennifer Yu, intermediate piano, student of Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire; Will Capell, secondary piano, student of Joey Rothfull, Rice Music Scholarship; Matthew Pritchett, secondary piano, student of Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire; Sarah Morales, secondary piano, student of Robyn Gibson, Elizabeth Cauble Scholarship (Morning Music Club); Breanna Walker, senior voice, teacher Dr. Donald Holland; Michael Hood, senior piano, student of Lee Ann Alexander; Malik Squire, college voice, student of Janet Hopkins, Catherine Cole and Celia Tolar Memorial (Morning Music Club); David Brickle, college piano, student of Dr. Marina Lomazov; Meghan Bennett, college orchestral/band, flute, student of Dr. Jennifer Parker–Harley; Ann Louise Glasser, student of Janet Hopkins, ; Jessie Kinosian, intermediate orchestral/band, violin, student of Ashley Horvat; Kayla Tilghman, secondary orchestral/band, violin, student of Ashley Horvat. The presentation of awards was made by Mrs. Marilyn Stradtman, president of the Afternoon Music Club and Mrs. Brenda Dean. The judges were Ms. Amy Deal, Mrs. Robyn Gibson, Dr. Randolph Love, Mrs. Alena Pagal, and Mrs. Lanny Palmer.
