Kudos,and a thank you, for your “Open Letter to Henry McMaster.”

As a historian, you are too familiar with the purpose of history; to learn lessons from the past so that we may apply this learned knowledge to the present and the future. We South Carolinians do seem to have difficulty with this concept.

Henry is not a bad sort, as you well know, but running for politicial office does seem to cause people to do foolish things. Pray for him.
