West Columbia’s Riverwalk Music Festival this Saturday

The City of West Columbia will hold the 4th annual Riverwalk Music Festival Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Music and art, fun and laughter will fill the air at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater on Alexander Road near the Gervais Street Bridge as the festival draws people from all over the Midlands region.
The Riverwalk Music Festival kicks off at 2 pm with a performance by Erich Skelton followed by Jon Michaels at 3:30 pm
The Twang Bombers take over from 5 to 6:30 pm. Jack Williams is the featured act from 7 to 9 pm. A well–known singersongwriter, Williams is an accomplished artist on the acoustic guitar, producing a distinctive style of blues, folk, and Southern rock music.
The West Columbia Riverwalk Music Festival offers a unique cultural experience by blending the fluid sounds of music with a sensational view of the Congaree River and the Columbia Skyline.
The Artists’ Courtyard features 25 local artisans offering original artwork in a variety of mediums from glass and photography to oil, prints, and water colors. Come enjoy great music and local art by the river’s edge.
