Blythewood Middle School Future City S.C. regional winners go to nationals


Blythewood Middle school students Val Miller, Steven Heath, and Patrick Reid, recently competed at the National Future City Competition. These students represented the state of South Carolina against 38 other teams from across the nation. The students said they had an experience of a lifetime making friends from across the country, visiting museums and national monuments, and representing South Carolina. Some of the students had their first experience flying, riding the metro, and riding a train. There were 11,000 schools that began Future City nation wide. Blythewood Middle School was one of 39 that made it to nationals.
