Local medical manufacturer helps Haiti
As part of the international efforts to bring aid to Haiti, Rhythmlink and its employees joined together to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders. Rhythmlink International, an electrode manufacturing company, wanted to provide assistance to the Haitian people by focusing its donations toward medical aid.
“Rhythmlink’s two partners, Shawn Regan and Michael O’Leary, have always been supportive of philanthropic activities, and this donation is our way of showing our support,” said Amanda Rosinski, marketing coordinator at Rhythmlink International, LLC.
In the weeks following the disastrous earthquakes, Rhythmlink assembled a team and began fundraising efforts. Rhythmlink employees contributed individual donations that were later matched by the company. All donations were submitted to the Haiti relief and medical emergency fund established by Doctors Without Borders.
Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization that works within 60 countries to assist individuals in need. Members of the Doctors Without Borders staff have been working diligently to respond to the needs of the Haitian people.
