Wilson endorses Livingston for state adjutant general

Bob Livingston Bob Livingston At a news conference February 12, 2010, Congressman Joe Wilson endorsed Bob Livingston’s run to become S.C. Adjutant General. Livingston who is an active major general in the S.C. National Guard, commanded 1,800 deployed S.C. National Guardsmen last year in Afghanistan and already has the support of Adjutant Gen. Stan Spears.

Livingston serves as president of Gregory Electric, a multi–state business with more than 350 employees. Now serving on General Patraeus’ staff at Central Command, Major Gen. Livingston led a force of 9,000 soldiers in Afghanistan in 2007–08 including the 218th Brigade of the S.C. National Guard and troops from 18 different coalition.
