People should be held accountable

Before anyone criticizes Lt. Gov. Bauer’s statement about public support for indigent people, we should accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative aspects of the facts of life. I agree with Lt. Gov. Bauer’s statement. It is not what is being done to help people who are in need, it is how it’s being done. When people are freed from accountancy, they seem to resolve to a state of mind that the world owes them support and “the beat goes on,” while we, the working class of folks, are forced to pick up the tab by tax increases; yet, we have no recourse.
