Since 1994, Eastminster Presbyterian Church has funded an International Student Scholarship. Its first recipient was Denis Fedulov from Russia, who earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at U.S.C. while living with the Ben Boyd family here. After their partnership with Hope Unlimited, Eastminster awarded two young men a scholarship to do advanced study in Campinas: Clayton DaSilva, who became an electrical engineer, and Nayana’s brother Thayan Reis, who graduated as an attorney in Campinas last month.
