Pit bull rescues baby squirrel

Charlie, Lisa Smarr and LTC Paul Laymon’s pit bull, found a baby squirrel that had been washed from its nest during a storm three weeks ago. Charlie carried the baby in his mouth unharmed to his human parents and watched over the baby’s feedings. The couple took the squirrel to Carolina Wildlife.
