Sausage Balls


2 cups biscuit mix
(Bisquick)
1 pound sausage

10 oz. package shredded
cheese (or shred from a
block of cheddar)

Put everything in a bowl and mix. This is easiest to do with your hands.

Roll the mixture into balls, a little smaller than golf balls.

Place the sausage balls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned with the meat cooked through.

Won Ton Wrap Bites

1 package won ton wraps
(found in produce section
of grocery store)
Mini muffin pan
Butter or olive oil flavored
cooking spray

Pre–heat oven to 350°, Spray mini muffin pan with cooking spray. Put a wrap in each individual cup and push down with finger. Add any of the following fillings and cook in oven about 15 minutes or until tops are bubbly and golden brown.
Savory fillings:
8 oz. cream cheese and
1 egg. Thoroughly mix and add your choice of ingredients below. Put a heaping teaspoon of mixture in the center of each wrap and proceed to bake.

1. Chopped green onions, chopped red bell pepper, and fresh ground pepper.

2. Small package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained. Saute with garlic powder, 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, a dash of red pepper; mix with cream cheese mixture and put in wraps.

3. Chopped fresh mushrooms and onion sauteed with fresh ground pepper and salt to taste.

Sweet fillings:

Add a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring and 1/2 cup sugar to cream cheese and egg mixture, then add your choice of sweet flavorings: chocolate chips, and/or chopped nuts, toffee bits, white chocolate bits, drained pineapple.

Cream cheese filling with small portion of pie filling spooned on each top.

Note: Use butter flavored spray only with the sweet fillings.

Holiday Cheese Ball


2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream
cheese
1 (8 oz.) can crushed
pineapple, drained
1 Tbsp. diced onion
1 Tbsp. chopped green bell

pepper
1/4 Tbsp. seasoning salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Mix together the cream cheese, pineapple, onion, bell pepper, and seasoning salt. Form into a ball and roll in chopped pecans.

Chill and serve with butter crackers.

Holiday Party Mix


1–1/2 lb. white chocolate
wafers (or 2 pkgs. white
chocolate chips)
1 (10 oz.) jar dry roasted
peanuts
3 cups pretzels
10 oz. candy coated chocolate
(holiday colors)
3 cups corn cereal squares
3 cups rice cereal squares
3 cups toasted oats cereal
Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave. Mix dry ingredients and pour melted chocolate on the mix. Place on 3 to 4 cookie sheets lined with wax paper until chocolate is set. Store in airtight container.

Cheese and Pesto Bites


20 crackers
1/2 cup basil pesto sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. extra sharp
Cheddar cheese, thinly
sliced
1 red pepper, finely
chopped

Spread each cracker with 1/2 teaspoon basil pesto sauce. Place cheese on each cracker. Add dollop of basil pesto sauce; sprinkle with red pepper. Makes 20
