Kelley a part of the SCSDB Olympic team

Chassidy Kelly of Columbia is a member of the SCSDB unified soccer team.

The team is made up of seven students from the SCSDB School for the Multihandicapped, aged 14–19, as well as three able–bodied peers. The team recently brought home the Gold Medal from the State Fall Games in Anderson.

The Special Olympics 2010 USA National Games in Lincoln, Nebraska, will take place July 18–23.

This is a major accomplishment for SCSDB athletics, as it is also the very first time the school has had a unified soccer team.
