This holiday season, the Columbia City Ballet is giving back to the community with discounted December Nutcracker performances for the continued support of patrons over the past 49 years.

With the 2008 performances being the highest attended Nutcracker over its last 12 years, Starrett is offering 50% off discounted tickets purchased by December 4 for the December 11–13 and

December 18–20 Nutcracker

performances.

The company, consisting of 38 professional dancers, will share the stage with over 100 talented local children, ages 4 to 16. Local personalities will also make guest appearances in the production.

This is the 29th consecutive year that Columbia City Ballet has performed Nutcracker . The ballet also has the distinction of dancing 40 performances and reaching over 50,000 audience members in six different cities in South Carolina and Georgia this holiday season, including Columbia, Lancaster, Sumter, Beaufort, Camden, and Savannah.
