St. Louis Rams Rookie Defensive Tackle and Columbia native, Darell Scott, is proving that he hasn’t forgotten where he’s come from by giving back in his hometown during Thanksgiving. He’s partnering with his church (Believers in Christ Baptist Church) to provide Thanksgiving dinner baskets for 50 needy local people. The baskets will include turkeys, collard greens, various fruits and canned vegetables. They will be distributed at the Believers in Christ Baptists Church at 745 Rosedale Arch in Columbia.
Scott, a fourth–round NFL draft pick by the Rams, graduated from Ridgeview High School in 2004. He went on to play college football at Clemson University.
