A.C. Flora’s Kim Roach The 2009 Flora Tip Off Tournament features eight Midlands’ girls’ basketball teams and runs November 21, 23, and 24 in two venues on the campus of A.C. Flora High School.

The Blythewood Bengals and the Brookland– Cayce Bearcats will start the action at 1 pm on Saturday, November 21 in the new gym. That game is followed immediately by the Irmo Yellow Jackets and Chapin Eagles at 2:30 pm. The White Knoll Timberwolves and Hammond Skyhawks play next at 4 pm. Then the host A.C. Flora Falcons will battle the Richland Northeast Cavaliers at 5:30 pm.

First round winners will meet at 6 pm and 7:30 pm Monday, November 23 in the new gym while first round losers will battle in the old gym at the same time. The third place game and championship are scheduled for 6 pm and 7:30 pm respectively in the new gym Tuesday, November 24. Sixth place and consolation games will take place Tuesday at 6 pm and 7:30 pm in the old gym.
