Carillon Carolers to perform at Governor’s Mansion December 3

Rosanne McDowell, alto and manager Rosanne McDowell, alto and manager On Thursday, Dec. 3, the Carillon Carolers will sing a welcome to visitors at the annual Governor’s Mansion Christmas Open House. Mansion docents and Columbia Garden Club hostesses will guide South Carolinians through the ground floor of the mansion beautifully decorated by the Columbia Garden Club from 4–7 pm. The public is invited to tour both the mansion and the Lace House, also located in the Governor’s Mansion complex. In addition to the elegant Christmas decorations, a special gingerbread house created by mansion chef Geoffrey Sandifer will be on display. The event is free and no reservations are necessary.
