Lighthouse Marina crew and volunteers pitched in to pick up litter and trash from Susie Ebert Island November 14. Lighthouse Marina adopted the island as part of the Keep America Beautiful and Adopt an Island project. This was the third of the marina’s semi–annual cleanups on the island. Eight people bagged eight bags of trash, along with some bed springs, old lawn chairs, an exercise ball, and more before heading back to the marina for hot dog dinners. Volunteers included Lake Murray Association Board Member Wallace Hubbard and Erlya Palagallo.
