First Baptist Church in Columbia will present its 22nd Annual Columbia Christmas Pageant December 10–13.

The Columbia Christmas Pageant is First Baptist’s Christmas gift to the people of the State of South Carolina with over 18,000 free tickets available for five performances. Tens of thousands of television viewers across the state will have an opportunity to enjoy this Christmas spectacular on statewide television December 24–26. Time and dates will be posted on www.FirstBaptistColumbia. com.

The Columbia Christmas Pageant features a cast of 400 children and adults including the First Baptist 200–voice choir and full orchestra. This grand Christmas tradition promises to delight and entertain you with all of your Christmas favorites – “Celebrate The Wonder of Christmas,” “Snowflakes Keep Falling On My Head,” “Frosty The Snowman,” and many more. It also features drama, dancing, the march of the snowmen, elaborate costuming and sets, and indoor snow and angels. The stage then transforms into the hills of Bethlehem as we celebrate the birth of Christ with favorites as “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Holy Night,” and the “Glorias of Christmas.”

There is plenty of free parking for cars and tour buses, and ushers will be available to help assist any handicapped or disabled person who may require special assistance. There will be a special section for the deaf and hearing impaired.
