General education students experience different disabilities. General education students experience different disabilities. Blythewood Middle School held its second annual Disability Awareness Day Friday, October 23.

The purpose of Disability Awareness Day is to raise awareness among students and faculty about what people with disabilities experience on a day– to–day basis. Two years ago the school received a grant from Family Connections that allows the school to bring these experiences to the student body.

Students at Blythewood Middle School participated in four rotations that provided them with information and experiences about disabilities.
