Cardinal Newman School moves forward with plans for new campus
Cardinal Newman Pr incipal Jacqual ine Kasprowski and Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina CFO, Bob Leichtle, hold plans for Cardinal Newman’s new campus.
Cardinal Newman School recently announced it has officially closed on the purchase of 49.12 acres of land on Alpine Road from Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina with the purpose of building a new campus for the school, currently located at 4701 Forest Drive.
In making the announcement, school principal, Jacqualine Kasprowski, stated, “Cardinal Newman prides itself on providing the best, most well–rounded educational experience for its students. Just as we push our students to be the best, Cardinal Newman is pushing itself to be the preeminent private school in the region with facilities and faculty that are second to none. We are excited about this bold new initiative and look forward to our partnership with the Cardinal Newman family, the Columbia Catholic community, and our friends in the greater Columbia community to make this happen. We are truly grateful to the Diocese of Charleston as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina for working with us to make this happen, and we look forward to moving on to the next phase of our preparation to build a new home for Cardinal Newman.”
