Workshop Theatre will continue its 2009–2010 season November 6–21 with the delightful romantic comedy Same Time, Next Year .

Set in the guest cottage of a Northern California country inn, Same Time, Next Year follows the love affair of Doris and George, who are married... but not to each other.

After meeting innocently enough in a restaurant, then spending one night together, they realize that they have fallen immediately, deeply, and hopelessly in love. Rather than have the affair tear their marriages apart, the relationship strengthens their love for their respective spouses. Doris and George find such a connection to one another that they resolve to meet again on the same date each year. Same Time, Next Year gives the audience six glimpses of their relationship as 25 years pass.

Recreating the roles of George and Doris for Workshop are Chip Stubbs and Vicky Saye Henderson. Under the direction of Jocelyn Sanders, the production team includes the talents of Randy Strange as set designer, Spencer Henderson as costume designer, and Barry Sparks as lighting designer.

The production is sponsored by Joe and Victoria Hollins.

Performances are 8 pm November 6–7, 11–14, and 18–21, and 3 pm November 15. Tickets are $18 for adults; $15 for seniors and military; $12 for students; and $8 for children under 12.
