Dreher’s Alexa Breeland (r) returns a volley during her #1 singles match against Brookland–Cayce’s April Horne. Breeland won the only match for Dreher 7–5, 6–4. The Bearcats’ (13–1, 5–1) one loss was early to the South Aiken Thoroughbreds 4–3. After later beating South Aiken 5–1, the Bearcats will likely have to play the Thoroughbreds again for the region championship, according to head coach Martha Zion.
