According to William C. Stork, the ladies pictured above (Jane Berry, Junie Hickman, and Georgia Hart, with Lea Anne Hart Brown of Mt. Pleasant) and referred to as tournament champions in the October 2 edition of The Columbia Star were in the Low Net Division, which deducts the team members’ handicaps from their score, and thus does not constitute the tournament champion. According to William C. Stork, the ladies pictured above (Jane Berry, Junie Hickman, and Georgia Hart, with Lea Anne Hart Brown of Mt.
