Katie Mixon and Hunter Bolton as Romeo and Juliet The South Carolina Shakespeare Company announces a compelling first production for their 2009—2010 theatrical season,

Romeo and Juliet.

The production, directed by Scott Blanks, features Hunter Bolton and Katie Mixon in the title roles, Leigh Stevenson as the nurse, Michael Hart as Lord Capulet, Libby Campbell– Turner as Lady Capulet, Patrick Williams as the friar, Harrison Saunders as Paris, and Clark Wallace as Lord Montague.

Performances will be held Thursday through Saturday, October 22–24, and Wednesday through Saturday, October 28–31, 8 pm in the Finlay Park Amphitheatre.

Adults tickets are $10; seniors and military, $8; students, $6.

Tickets on sale nightly at the amphitheatre beginning at 7 pm.
