Miss Fiesta and Mr.Cruse exchange vows October 3, 2009
Mrs. Joshua Aaron Cruse Paulene Hutalla Fiesta and Joshua Aaron Cruse were married October 3, 2009, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Columbia. The Rev. John Trump performed the ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall.
The bride is the daughter of Silvestre and Evelyn Fiesta of Beaufort, South Carolina and formerly of the Philippines. Her grandparents are Estercasio and Pilar Hutalla of Manila, Philippines and Julio and Maximina Fiesta of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She is a graduate of Beaufort High School, Beaufort, South Carolina and received a bachelor of science degree in integrated marketing communication from Winthrop University. She is employed by The Columbia Star.
The bridegroom is the son of Reggie and Amanda Cruse of Lexington, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Robert and Jane West of West Columbia and Guy and Cary Cruse of White Rock, South Carolina. He graduated from Gilbert High School, Gilbert, South Carolina and received a BA degree in English from Newberry College. He is employed by Haynsworth, Sinkler and Boyd and The Columbia Sta r.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The maids of honor were Stephanie Fiesta, of Beaufort, sister of the bride; and Lindsey McDonald of Beaufort. The bridesmaids were Phoebe Fiesta, sister of the bride, of Beaufort; and Rebekah Cruse, sister of the groom, of Lexington.
Keller Cruse, brother of the bridegroom, of Lexington, served as best man. The groomsmen were Stephen Fiesta, brother of the bride, of Beaufort; Keith Cruse, uncle of the bridegroom, of Little Mountain, South Carolina; and Bill Hunnicutt, uncle of the bridegroom, of West Columbia.
After a honeymoon to Colorado Springs, Colorado, the couple will reside in West Columbia.
