USC receives grant to host African American research conference
The University of South Carolina’s Institute for African American Research has received a grant from the S.C. Humanities Council to organize a public conference on African American research.
The conference will take place March 24–26, 2010, and will focus on three themes particularly relevant to South Carolina: education, immigration and public health.
