Photo by Jim Covington Shandon United Methodist Church members welcomed back Guthrie Darr as part of the Celebrating 100 Years of Ministry Sunday, September 27. Dar r was director of the Chancel Choir from 1952–1999. In the picture above, Darr (center–sitting) is joined by Betty Bruner, Lib Crosswell, Martha Payne, Mary Ann Crews (Centennial Committee chairperson), Nancy Kelly, and Nola Covington. All but Crews have been singing in the choir for at least 50 years.
