Petal Pushers Garden Club Meets
The September meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club was held at the historic Sweet Bay Homestead, the country home of Nancy Reamer. This estate was once part of the Geiger Plantation, and the Reamer family has developed the extensive gardens and added to the original house since the early 1930s. Today, it is maintained by Nancy who is a master gardener.
Co–hostesses were Nora Frye and Drucy Siokos who served delicious refreshments. Shirley Smith, president, conducted the business session. The new yearbooks received many compliments and the committee was thanked. There were two visitors: Leese Smith and Judy Glenn. The next meeting will be at the home of Margaret Glenn October 15.
