Chaired by N. Charleston lawyer and past president of YLD Tiffany Spann- Wilder, the Families Forever project focuses on adoption awareness throughout the state. YLD plans to continue the project this year with fairs in Greenville and Charleston.
Two other YLD projects which received special recognition are the YLD Leadership Academy, chaired by S. Venus Poe; and Mothers in the Law: Balancing Family and Work, chaired by Amy Hill.
The Young Lawyers Division includes all members of the South Carolina Bar under age 36 and those with less than five years membership.
The South Carolina Bar, which has a membership of more than 13,000 lawyers, is dedicated to advancing justice, professionalism and understanding of the law.
