The school day will begin at 8 am instead of 8:15 am for Richland One high school students this year.

The school day will end at 3:15 pm for high schools, the same as last year's dismissal time.

School start and dismissal times for elementary and middle school students will remain the same as last year. School bus pickup times will not be affected. Bus routes and pickup times are posted on the district's Web site, www.richlandone.org.

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for Richland One students.

The bell schedule for the 2009- 2010 school year is as follows • Elementary schools, 7:30 am- 2:30 pm • Middle schools, 8:45 am- 3:45 pm • High schools, 8 am- 3:15 pm
