The Richland 2 school board rejected a year- round, K- 5 charter school recently, despite the state Department of Education's assessment that the proposed Hope Charter School meets the state's rigorous charter school standards. More ... The school day will begin at 8 am instead of 8:15 am for Richland One high school students this year. The school day will end at 3:15 pm for high schools, the same as last year's dismissal time.
