I enjoyed the article ("Range Manager wins ten gold medals," July 31) about John McMahan's shooting prowess and cheer for him. There is one series of facts that many of your readers would have liked to know: What kind of shotguns was he shooting? For the most part, he would seem to be shooting over/under models but were there Berettas? Browning? Something exotic like a Perazzi? And what models?

Inquiring minds want to know.
