The Animal Mission, the non- profit support group for The Columbia Animal Shelter, is extending its spay/neuter coupon campaign through August 31, 2009. City of Columbia and Richland County residents can pick up coupons from the City of Columbia Animal Shelter, 127 Humane Lane in Columbia.

The coupons can be used at participting veterinarian offices and at the HSPCA through August 31, 2009 for a discounted spay/neuter operation for a cat or dog. There are 500 coupons available on a first- come, first- served basis, limited to two coupons per person.
