Katie Jones has found her passion in triathlons. The USC senior finished second in her age group in her first attempt at a sprint distance triathlon back in October of 2007. Since then she's completed four sprint triathlons, and this weekend she plans to step up her game and try an Olympic distance triathlon in New York. Jean Montgomery was born in Columbia and raised in the Blythewood area of the Midlands. She attended Ridge View High School and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Communication Studies in May of 2009. She is back in the Columbia area pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
