Supper Club at Art Shack Gallery
      Art Shack Gallery Cafe will host the Art of Food Supper Club with head chef Adams Hayne, Sunday, July 26, 6 pm, at 2701A Rosewood Drive, Columbia. The evening includes a corn theme seven course meal with local chefs, local fresh food, art, and live music by Greg Robinson. The Supper Club chefs are (l- r), Jamie Trippany, Ray Hendrix, Danny Cooper and Adams Hayne.

Animal Mission extends spay/neuter coupon campaign
      The Animal Mission, the non- profit support group for The Columbia Animal Shelter, is extending its spay/neuter coupon campaign through August 31, 2009. City of Columbia and Richland County residents can pick up coupons from the City of Columbia Animal Shelter, 127 Humane Lane in Columbia.

National Night Out kick- off "America's night out against crime"
      The first annual Richland County Sheriff 's Department National Night Out Kick- Off, a free event, open to all citizens, will take place Saturday, August 1, from 4 pm to 9 pm at the Village of Sandhill (in front of the Bi- Lo) in an effort to celebrate taking crime off our streets and to kick start National Night Out Against Crime, Tuesday August 4.
