Miss Kibler and Mr. Moca exchange vows June 5, 2009

Anna Belle Carroll Kibler and Steven Vanderwerff Moca were married in St. Joseph's Catholic Church June 5, 2009. Father Richard D. Harris performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Janet Marks, organist. Scripture readers were Eleanor Elizabeth Kibler and Davis Elizabeth Vanderwerff, cousins of the bride and bridegroom.

Mrs. Steven Vanderwerff Moca
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marshall Kibler of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rhett Heyward and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marshall Kibler. She graduated from Cardinal Newman High School and Newberry College with a BA in psychology. She is employed by Grubb & Ellis Wilson Kibler in the property management division as property manager.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Magalhaes Moca of Greenville, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John William Vanderwerff of Greenville, South Carolina and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Fernandes Moca of Victoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil. The bridegroom graduated from J. L. Mann in Greenville and the University of South Carolina with a BA in interdisciplinary studies. He is self employed as an interactive marketing consultant.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The matron of honor was Sarah Rhett Kibler Brewer, twin sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kristen Nicole DeMars; Sidney Burnett Heyward, cousin of the bride; Rula Marie Kibler, sister- in- law of the bride; Anna Moca Skillern and Emilie Moca Whitaker, sisters of the bridegroom.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsmen were Brooks Allen Brewer, brother- in- law of the bride; Heyward Haskell Kibler, brother of the bride; John Duffey Skillern, brother- in- law of the bridegroom; Frank Michael Terlizzi; and Brian Scott Whitaker, brother- in- law of the bridegroom. The senior ushers were Church Carroll Heyward and Eugene Robertson Kibler, uncles of the bride.

A reception was held at Forest Lake Country Club. After a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Columbia.
