Music guild wins awards

      When the members of the Musicians and Songwriters' Guild of South Carolina put together a collection of children's songs for the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital, they were trying to have some fun with music and help do a little emotional healing. The songs were either originals by the artists or tunes for kids the singers remembered from their youth.

Selena Pickens is the assistant secretary; Bruce Sanders, treasurer; Gail Baker, secretary; Mary Baskin Robins, president elect, and Alexzena Furgess, vice president. Bessie Watson was installed as the new CCN President.
