Reeds Jewelers Mother's Day essay contest winner

Contributed by Killian Elementary Nathan Johnson (right), a Killian Elementary fifth grader, was the winner of the Reeds Jewelers Mother's Day essay contest. Johnson wrote the winning essay entitled, "Why I Love My Mom." Nathan's essay was chosen from among 115 submissions. Everett Black (center), Village at Sandhills Store Manager, presented Nathan's mother, Carol Cruse (left), with a Mother's Day Diamond Pendant. Each participant also received a bookmark voucher.
