Tony Price and Dwayne Addy led the Columbia Northeast Post 182 Rangers over the Richland Post 6 Pathfinders 11- 6 in a League 8 American Legion show down at Ridge View High School Monday night.

Price went 3- for- 5 from the plate with a home run two RBIs, and two runs. Addy was equally impressive going 2- for- 3 with a home run, an RBI, and three runs. Julio Iglesias and Caleb Brazell also had home runs for Post 182.

The Pathfinders showed some power as well with home runs from David Greene and David Houser. Kyle Towles and Raymond Prince each collected three hits for Post 6.

Iglesias started the home run derby with a two- run blast over the right field fence in the bottom of the first inning. The Pathfinders bounced back in the top of the second when Prince scored on a passed ball, and Towles's infield hit plated Corey Young.

The Pathfinders took a 3- 2 lead in the top of the third after Greene's solo home run, but the Rangers would tie it up with Price's home run in the bottom half of the inning.

The Rangers added two more in the fourth when Richland pitcher Joseph O'Steen walked Richard Crisostomo and Jay Griffin with the bases loaded sending Joc Brunson and Addy home.

The Pathfinders would close the gap to 5- 4 in the top of the fifth after Prince's single to center field scored Greene, but the Rangers exploded for five runs in the bottom half of the inning to go up 10- 4. Brazell's solo home run started the scoring. Then Will Taylor's bloop single scored Jacques. Addy followed that by escaping a run down between third and home. Taylor then scored from third on Griffin's safety squeeze bunt. Price completed the scoring with a single to center field that allowed Crisostomo to score giving the Rangers a commanding 10- 4 lead.

Houser gave Post 6 a ray of hope in the top of the sixth with a drive over the center field fence that cut the score to 10- 5, but the Rangers answered right back with a blast from Addy.
