      A gardener's favorite six- pack usually involves plants. When a new variety of cherry tomato arrived by FedEx this week, it came in a six- pack ready for transplanting. While the tomato's credentials are impressive, so was the method of packing the plants to arrive in perfect condition.

Gardens at UGA hold open house

      An open house will be held at the Gardens at UGA, located on the campust of the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., Saturday, July 11, 8 am- noon. The Trial Gardens at UGA are nationally known for trialing annuals and perennials for the Southeast, and developing new plants for the Horticulture Industry.
