The South Carolina Business Hall of Fame, established in 1985 by Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina and The State
Mary Weston Grimball, CEO Junior Achievement, and Jim Rex, SC Superintendent of Education
newspaper, honors business men and women in South Carolina who, through their accomplishments, serve as champions of free enterprise and role models for tomorrow's business leaders. A dinner was held May 21, 2009, at the Convention Center to honor past honorees and the 2009 Laureates Robert E. McNair, Joseph A. Edens, and W. Hayne Hipp. See page 6. Nominations for consideration
