Local author publishes fourth book

Allen University's Dr. Marcia Brevard Wynn has published her fourth book

entitled, Do Unto Others.

Dr. Wynn currently serves as Allen University's director of Sponsored Programs and is the first African- American author to be published by Champagne Books.

Dr. Wynn will be conducting a book signing on Sat- urday, May 30 from 2- 5 pm, at Barnes and Noble in Harbison Court, 278- A Harbison Blvd., Columbia.

Dr. Wynn writes, "One morning Jasmine Rodgers sends her children off to school, only to have her marriage of ten years turned upside down. Her husband, Reginald, tells her that he is leaving her and the children for another woman.

Jasmine is devastated. She had no idea that her marriage was on the brink of disaster, that Reginald had been planning this ambush for months, or that her hectic but happy life was about to come crashing down around her.

Jasmine's best friend, Giana, finds herself in an even more devastating position in her marriage of 12 years, compounded by a life threatening disease. Both women lean on each other for strength and discover that what does not kill them will surely make them stronger."

Dr. Marcia Brevard Wynn Dr. Marcia Brevard Wynn Marcia Brevard Wynn is a native South Carolinian who developed a love for reading and writing at an early age. A staff member at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina, she is the university's director of Sponsored Programs.

In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling. She lives with her husband and children in Camden, South Carolina.
