Nearly 2000 students graduated from Midlands Technical College Thursday, May 7, at the Carolina Coliseum.

Of these students, more than half were awarded associate degrees; other graduates received certificates and diplomas from the college's approximately 100 programs of study.

Charles D. (Chuck) Beaman Jr., President and CEO of Palmetto Health and chair of the MTC Foundation Board, delivered the commencement address.
