Ladybug release at Chesterbrook Academy

Taylor Burch Taylor Burch Pre- kindergarten and kindergarten students at Chesterbrook Academy held its 17th Annual Ladybug Release Wednesday, April 22 in celebration of Earth Day 2009. The 175 students recited poems about the earth and released a handful of ladybugs. Ladybugs feed on aphids (plant lice) and other insects that are harmful to gardens, trees, and shrubs.
