The RNE Model UN team took the second place research award and the third place team award at the National Model UN Conference in New York in March. Competing against 150 Model UN teams from around the world at the National Model UN Conference in New York, the Richland Northeast Model UN team again came home a winner. The team took the second place research award and the third place team award at the March competition.

The 16 students represented South Africa.
