Saluda Shoals Park has been awarded a $500 grant from Champions of the Environment.

The park's Environmental Education Center is installing a rain barrel system to capture runoff from its roof.

This project will allow park rangers to teach school groups and park visitors about water conservation and runoff pollution prevention.
