As a highlight of Columbia Green's 25th anniversary year, the 2009 Festival of Gardens will showcase residential gardens located in the Forest Hills District, one of Columbia's most historic neighborhoods as well as residential gardens in the Tangelwood Neighborhood. Tours will be held on Thursday, May 14 and Saturday, May 16.

The May Festival will feature 12 residential gardens with tours running from 9:30 am- 3:30 pm both days. The event will also feature a tea party each day from 2- 5 pm at the last home on the tour. As with past festivals, master gardeners will be available at each garden to answer questions about gardening and specific plant characteristics.

Advance ticket prices for the two- day event are $30 for members and $40 for non- members. Prices the day of event will be $35 for members and $45 for non- members.
